Interested in Awards?
Debate offers quite a few. You can receive awards for speaking well (Best Speaker), being able to lead well (Best Presiding Officer), or being the most active (Critics Choice Award). There is even an award for people who write good bills (Best Legislation). Come try your skills.

Great on College Apps.
Putting debate on your college application can score you big. It shows colleges that you are interested in stating your opinions and about what is going on in the world. Talk about gaining brownie points!!!

Confidence Booster
Learning how to speak can boost your confidence majorly. Stating your opinions helps you learn to speak up in the real world and know more about what you are saying.

Our entire club is made up of friends. Everyone wants you to succeed, and no one wants to make fun of you. We all love to talk and make new friends (even with freshmen).
